WALKERS will be trekking through Clumber Park to raise money for charity.
Macmillan’s Big Walk is to be held on Saturday, September 8, and is aimed at raising £100,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It is hoped 2,000 people will register to take part in a 10 mile or two mile route.
Alex Talcer, National Event Programme Manager for Macmillan, said: “The Big Walk is open to all, and that includes dogs, so feel free to bring them along.
“More than 200,000 people are living with cancer across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. Each one of them could need our help so we want to raise as much money as we can to fund Macmillan services. Join us for a great day out and help raise money for people living with cancer.”
