Students rally to help charity
TWO Sheffield students are preparing to drive 10,000 miles through Europe to Mongolia in a 1999 van they bought for £750 in aid of Save The Children and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Angus Rose and Tim Watkin, both 21 and living in Crookes, aim to raise 1,000 by taking part in the Mongolia Charity Rally.
They will also donate the van to the Children's Development and Protection Fund in Mongolia.
The politics students will set off on the four-week adventure after graduation in July. They have set up a website, www.ulaanbaantar.co.uk.
