HUNDREDS of fundraisers will take a twilight stroll through the grounds of Chatsworth Park this weekend for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The 10km walk on Saturday is aimed at raising money to provide end-of-life care to terminally ill people in their own homes.
More than 400 walkers have registered, but the charity still has places available. The event starts at 7pm and at the end there will be entertainment and live music. Registration is £10, or free for children.
Organiser Kate Gaynor said: “Walk Ten at Chatsworth promises to be a brilliant occasion.”
It costs the charity £20 an hour to provide one hour of nursing care to a patient in their own home. To take part visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/walkten or call 08700 340040.
