Conveniently local dining
Yorkshire food specialist Mr Pickles is making it even easier to buy local – with a new fridge which means the Abbeydale Road shop can expand its range of convenience foods.
Pizzas, sauces, smoked meats and fish pâtés are among the new stock.
Owner Paul Widdowson says: “A lot of customers don’t have time to cook from scratch every night and we wanted to offer a more convenient way to eat Yorkshire. The new fridge is a significant investment, but it’s a sign of how well the shop is doing.”
Bistrot Pierre will be opening on Christmas day for the first time in its 21-year history, and it has come up with a sparkling seasonal offer to delight customers of all ages.
The restaurant, in Ecclesall Road South, has launched a regular new children’s menu including a gift of a puzzle book and crayons.
It has also been given a festive transformation, featuring thousands of fairy lights and baubles.
