Youngsters watch like hawks as birds take to the air
FEATHERED friends came to call at a Sheffield nursery – with children enjoying a falconry display and demonstration.
The event was part of the summer fair at the kidsunlimited Lynda Ellis Nursery in Broomhall.
The appearance by the birds of prey delighted the youngsters and many had their photo taken with them.
The birds were happy to perch on hats, heads and arms, as well as flying through a living corridor created by the youngsters.
A nursery spokeswoman said: "The falconry display was one of the best attractions we have ever had at the nursery and the children really loved it. The birds were so well trained and the youngsters were captivated by them."
Other attractions on the day included a family barbecue, raffle and cake stall.
