BONFIRE NIGHT

AFTER DARK AT DON VALLEY BOWL

After Dark 2016 will return to the Don Valley Grass Bowl on Saturday 5 November. The event takes place from 5.30pm until 10pm. The bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm with fireworks to music at 9pm.

Hallam FM and Big John will be live and there will also be food stalls and a giant funfair.

Advance purchase tickets are priced £11 adults (aged 14+) and £5.50 child (age 3-13).

From 5pm on November 5, tickets will be priced £12 adults (aged 14+) and £6 child (age 3 - 13).

A special children’s fireworks display set to Disney classics will open the annual Chatsworth Bonfire and Fireworks Nights on November 5 and 6.

Along with music from Disney’s Frozen and other well-known family friendly songs, there will be a magical feel to this year’s annual event with live ice-carving by the award-winning company which created a huge ice installation for the hit TV series Game of Thrones.

The lighting of the bonfire and the children’s firework display takes place at 7.30pm with the main firework display with its show-stopping grand finale following at 8.45pm.

Along with tasty bonfire food and drink, live bands and stilt walkers, this ticketed event has plenty to offer before the all important countdown to the fireworks.

6pm - Gates open and entertainment begins

7.30pm - Bonfire lit and Disney classics firework display

8.45pm – Grand finale firework display

9.45pm - Event ends

This free event takes place on November 4 at the Transport Ground, Meadowhead, Greenhill, Main Road. The event will include a huge bonfire, spectacular firework display, outside bar, funfair, Punch and Judy, a magic show, face painting, children's TV characters, fire eaters and much more including hot food. The fun starts at 6pm with the bonfire lit at 7pm.

OWLERTON STADIUM

Owlerton Stadium will be hosting a greyhound racing night followed by a fireworks display on November 6. Gates open at 4pm, first race is at 5pm, last at 8pm with the fireworks getting under way after racing. Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for children. The restaurant and executive boxes will be open on the night.

GRENOSIDE SCOUTS BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS

Grenoside Scouts will be hosting a bonfire and fireworks display on November 5. The bonfire and fireworks will get underway at 7pm with a Guy Fawkes competition from 6.30pm. Food and refreshments including burgers, chilli, hot dogs, jacket potatoes and parkin will be available. There will also be a bar at the venue in Saltbox Lane, Grenoside. Tickets are £4, under fives free of charge. Tickets should be bought in advance as the event sold out last year.

THE GREAT FIRE OF DRONFIELD

A Bonfire and Family Firework Display will be held at Dronfield Woodhouse Recreation Ground on November 5. The fire will be lit at 6pm with firework displays at 7pm and 8pm. Appearing in the Club afterwards are Junkyard Dog. Tickets for adults (12 and over) are £6 in advance, £7 on the day.

HANDSWORTH BONFIRE AND FIREWORKS

Handsworth Old Rectory and Community Centre will be hosting a fireworks display on November 5 from 5pm to 9pm. Tickets are £3.

THE GREAT FIRE OF RINGINGLOW

The Norfolk Arms at Ringinglow will host its annual Bonfire Night extravaganza on November 5. The event also features a huge marquee serving homemade food and a range of beers, wines, spirits and hot drinks. The bonfire will be lit at around 7pm. There will be no fireworks due to surrounding farms, but guests can bring sparklers.

HESLEY WOOD BONFIRE

Hesley Wood in Chapeltown will be hosting its annual bonfire at the Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre. The event will feature the usual Bonfire and Fireworks displays, but there will also be an outdoor stage bringing live music, a catering unit, a fully licensed bar, stalls, and fair rides. Tickets are priced atL Adult: £5.50 (15 years or older), child: £3.50 (14 years or younger), parking pass £1 per car (cars can only park at the event with a pre-purchased pass). The Annual Clifton Park Bonfire and Fireworks display takes place in Clifton Park, Rotherham on November 3. The funfair opens at 4.00pm with the fire lit at 6.30pm.

Childrens fireworks at 6.45pm, main fireworks display at 7.45pm. Entry is free.

MANOR FIELDS PARK

Manor Fields Park, City Road, will be the venue for a bonfire on November 4 from 7.30pm. Admission is free. Food will be available but there is no parking at the site.
