Sheffield indie rocker Alex Turner's new band The Last Shadow Puppets have stormed straight in to the top of the album chart.
The Arctic Monkeys frontman's side-project went straight in at number one with their debut album The Age Of The Understatement.
The band is a collaboration between Turner and his friend Miles Kane, singer with The Rascals.
The album was recorded in just two weeks while both artists took a break from work with their other bands.
Turner has every reason to celebrate the success which comes exactly one year after The Arctic Monkeys second album Favourite Worst Nightmare claimed the number one spot.
The year before, the band's debut album Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not shot straight to number one as the fastest selling debut album ever in the UK.
Turner's overwhelming success has knocked The Kooks off the top spot as their second album Konk fell to number two.
