Killers announce Arena date for next spring

FESTIVAL headliners The Killers have announced a return to Sheffield as part of the 2009 arena tour for their imminent new album.
The Las Vegas band, who this year topped the bill at Leeds Festival, release third studio album Day & Age on November 24, as follow-up to 2006 record Sam's Town and 2004's Hot Fuss.

They last played Sheffield Arena in February 2007, having previou
sly played city nightclub The Leadmill and University student night Fuzz Club. The band has since gone on to become one of the biggest of the new millennium.

The tour comes to Sheffield Arena on March 2. Tickets, priced at £32.50, go on sale at 10am on Friday, by calling 0114 256 56 56, online at www.sheffieldarena.co.uk or in person at the box office.
