Martha Plugs in to Sheffield

A prominent member of the Wainwright music clan, folk-rock singer-songwriter Martha, returns with her band to Plug in Sheffield on October 19.
The Pogues have lined up their sixth annual raucous Christmas tour with a date at the Sheffield Carling Academy on December 12.

And American singer songwriter Beth Nielsen-Chapman will be at Emmanuel Church in Huddersfield Road, Barnsley, on November 19 in aid of Peace Jam and Macmillan Nurses.

She will be at Buxton Opera House the following night.

Tickets for the Barnsley concert (£20) are available from Jack's Records in Division Street.
