A NEW group comprising members of the Arctic Monkeys and Reverend & The Makers will perform at the Sheffield Carling Academy in Arundel Gate on October 16.
Mongrel features Arctic Monkeys' drummer Matt Helders, his former bandmate Andy Nicholson, Reverend & The Makers frontman Jon McClure, his bandmate Joe Moskow, Drew McConnell of Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles and half-Iraqi rapper Low-key.

The band has a strong political slant aimed at creating awareness of current social issues.

Tickets cost £13.
