BIG crowds are expected today for a flypast in the Derwent Valley to mark the 65th anniversary of the Dambusters raid.
A service at Derwent dam, where the wartime pilots trained for the bouncing bomb raids in Germany, will be followed by the flypast at 10am.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will include one of the last two remaining Lancaster bombers, a Spitfire, Hurricane, Dakota, and two Tornadoes.

After three passes of the dam, the aircraft will continue along the valley to Chatsworth.

The narrow road into the valley will be closed, and there will be parking regulations on the main A57, but the flypast can been seen from other spots between Derwent and Chatsworth.
