Grounds for a stroll at the lodge

A GARDEN at Unstone, near Dronfield, opens its gates to the public for the 17th year on Sunday.
Visitors are being invited to enjoy the garden of Ramshaw Lodge, set out in Edwardian times, and to raise money for local charities.
Organised by Dronfield Inner Wheel and Plant Aid and opened by local MP Natascha Engel, the event offers a chance to see a cottage garden, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, hostas and alpines. There will be plant sales, craft stalls and musical entertainment.
The day, from 10am to 4pm, is hosted by doctors Tony and Gill Bethell. Proceeds are going to Ashgate Hospice, Dronfield Disabled Club, PACT, which supports parents of children with tumours, Sheffield Wheelchair Tennis and the Dronfield and District Scouts.
lJazz in the Garden, organised by Drone Valley Rotary Club, is being held at Ramshaw Lodge, off Crow Lane, from noon on Sunday, May 25.
A garden party with a French theme is being held on Saturday, June 7 from 1.30pm.
