Manor Operatic Society will fill the City Hall with fairytales and Disney magic as their latest production, Beauty and the Beast, takes to the stage next week.
Sheffield’s musical theatre comapany will bring to life the endearing story of Belle and the Beast through beautiful costumes, a magnificent stage set and sing-a-long tunes. The Disney adaptation of the traditional tale of the unrequited love that develops into a friendship between the young beautiful Belle and the ugly Beast is enlivened with a flurry of household objects that come to life within the castle. They include mother figure teapot Mrs Potts, romantic candelabra Lumière, Chip the teacup and trusty Cogsworth the clock. Beauty and the Beast opens at the City Hall on Wednesday and runs to Sunday with a Saturday matinee.
