FIRST-time buyer Adam Sampson is taking an even bigger step than the one he made on to the property ladder - by climbing Mount Everest.
The 21-year-old, from Sheffield, is joining work colleagues for the gruelling 18-day trek to the mountain’s base camp in aid of charity Save the Children.
He hopes to raise £4,000 to give a helping hand to children in some of the UK’s most deprived areas.
Fitness fanatic Adam, who recently bought a house with partner Laura Grundy with Keepmoat Homes’ Amaranthus development, is been sponsored £500 by the developer for his challenge.
He said: “Knowing the difference funding will make has really given me the extra drive to raise the £4,000 I need.”
