Ambulance strike

Have your say

Yorkshire ambulance staff are preparing to strike on Saturday in protest at changes in shift patterns that they say could mean paramedics going more than 10 hours without a meal break and staff being forced to work 12 hour shifts.

Members of the Unite voted overwhelmingly for a 24 hour strike from midnight to be followed by another walkout on Monday, between 3pm and 7pm. The union is calling for talks.
