SHEFFIELD John Lewis partner Janet Holden will spend her bonus on her wedding next month on an island in Malaysia.
Janet, aged 52, a visual merchandiser in home and fashion, wanted a special celebration after battling breast cancer and to show how much fiancé Philip Scorthorne, aged 61, means to her.
The couple, who live in Walkley, had lost contact after knowing each other for 30 years.
Both divorced, they met again as Janet recovered from her illness and are now finalising preparations to getting married on the island of Pangkor Laut.
She has been planning the wedding for a year and spent her last bonus on a wedding dress.
Janet, who has worked at John Lewis for 11 years, said: “The extra money will help make it the best day of my life.”
