POP singer and reality TV star Peter Andre will lead a giant literacy event in Sheffield on April 13.
He will be at Meadowhall as part of an attempt to break the world record for the most children reading with an adult.
More than 4,000 youngsters will be required, and the singer, who launched his own range of children’s books last year, will be reading with the children for half an hour during two sessions on the day.
He said: “Reading with your children is one of the most magical experiences for any parent, but it is also an important pastime for your child.”
Adults need to register their children on the shopping centre’s website.
