A NEO-NATAL nurse from Sheffield raised more than £300 for the Catholic aid agency CAFOD by taking part in the BUPA Great North Run.
Annie Webb, aged 54, of The Grove, Totley, completed the half-marathon from Newcastle to South Shields in just under 2 hours, 15 minutes.
She said: “Now my children have left home I have a little more time on my hands and I am keen to use this to help support CAFOD’s work.”
Annie ran the Sheffield half-marathon last year for the charity
Meanwhile, her husband, John, aged 51, has run the New York Marathon and is planning to play a few gigs around Sheffield in aid of CAFOD.
