Police arrested 18 people after Sheffield United’s nail-biting match against Hull.
The Metropolitan Police - which covers Wembley Stadium – said they were arrested on suspicion of various offences, including affray, GBH, ABH, being drunk and disorderly and under section 5 of the public order act.
One United fan who went to the match contacted The Star to say she had seen fighting during the game on Sunday.
She said: “It just seemed shocking when it was the day remembering Hillsborough.
“There was a lot of fighting, I saw people covered in blood.”
