Artists support charities

The Cupola Gallery at Hillsborough is hosting a charity art auction on Saturday afternoon when items donated by more than 25 artists will come under the hammer.

The charities Yes to Life offering complimentary and alternative therapies to people living with cancer, Alzheimer’s Research and Bens Centre, a safe place for Sheffield street drinkers will benefit.

All pieces offered for auction are currently available to view at Cupola and at www.cupolagallery.com

They include painting by Charlie Kirkham, Barbara Sykes, Viv Owen, Stephen Todd, Derek McQueen, Paul Evans, Colleen Penny, Tania Holland and Paul Denham, glassware by Ruth Lyne, Hang Yeung (aka Kylie) and Hazel Burnham, ceramics by Anne Bates, Dawn Hurst and Hanne Westergaard, photography by Ben & Amy Bucki, Mark Wrigley, Paul Schatzberger and Jennifer Booth, jewellery by Abby Filer and Rebecca Kitching, printmaking by Val Mager and Mandy Payne and texties by Sue Stone and Dawn Ireland.

Many items have no reserve. It starts at the Cupola Gallery on Saturday at 3pm.
