Batman Live: Caped crusaders do battle in city

BATMAN and Robin have landed. Last night audiences packed the Motorpoint Arena Sheffield for the first of eight performances of Batman Live, a spectacular new show featuring the superhero and characters from the DC Comics and blockbuster movies.

The lavish production features acrobatic stunts, pyrotechnics, special effects and video screen sequences to tell the story of orphaned circus perforrmer Dick Grayson, alias Robin, and his quest for justice which leads him to follow in the footsteps of his hero, Batman – much to the dismay of his protective guardian, millionaire Bruce Wayne – who secretly happens to be Batman.

It results in a non-stop thrill ride across Gotham City to the subterranean wonders that await inside the Batcave, which features a revolutionary, all-new Batmobile designed exclusively for Batman Live.

The show runs until Sunday and tickets cost £20, £30 & £35.
