TWO new bridges have been lifted into position as part of construction work on a new bridleway.
Star reader Julie Elliot, of Killamarsh, captured the moment one of the bridges was hoisted into position by crane into its foundations, spanning the River Rother.
Another bridge has been installed over railway tracks.
The bridges are part of the Connect 2 bridleway route which will link Killamarsh and Halfway.
The new bridleway is necessary because the B6058 Station Road which links the two communities is busy with traffic, including a high proportion of lorries, and has poor footpaths not wide enough for disabled people or those using mobility scooters.
