Almost £5 million in Government funding has been provided to support sustainable transport schemes in South Yorkshire, it has been announced.

The Department for Transport is handing over £4.8 million to the region to support of range of local initiatives.

It is part of £64 million of funding the Government is handing out to schemes around the country.
