Abseilers descended from the roof of a 10-storey office development in Sheffield to announce the building’s availability.
The team helped put in place a 100ft banner from the roof of The Balance in the heart of Sheffield to launch the lettings market for the building.
Two abseil ropes were fixed to the roof of the newly refurbished building just off Trippet Lane and Townhead Street, enabling the abseilers to fix the new banner down the side of the Grade A office accommodation.
Developers CBRE Investors and the Sheffield office of commercial property consultants Knight Frank hope the eye-catching new banner will help showcase the former City Plaza.
Knight Frank partner Tim Bottrill said: “The whole ethos of The Balance focuses around an innovative combination of work and play.
“The launch of the building featured an abseil theme and raised £4,750 for Bluebell Wood through a charity abseil so we thought we would rope UK Bungee in again to help us position the banner.’’
Refurbishment work has included substantial improvement to the exterior façade at ground level and first floor, open plan work space, a new double height reception and a fully landscaped courtyard with lighting and luxury seating areas.
New tenants can take advantage of discounted corporate gym membership at the Sheffield International Venues-managed Ponds Forge, car valeting and dry cleaning pick-up service.
Suites range from 1,600 ft upwards in the 35,000 sq ft building, with parking also available in a secure basement car park.
