BREXIT: Nine key projects funded by European Union money

Number 1: 3 St Paul's Place '“ the final phase of the Heart of the City Project. It received £7m of European Regional Development Fund towards the total cost of £27m. 2: Fox Valley, retail and business space has just opened with up to £8m ERDF towards the costs. 3: Sheaf Valley park adjacent to the train station. There have been two EU funding contributions, total £250,000. 4: Sheaf Square and Howard St '“ ERDF contributed to the £23m cost. 5: Tudor Square and the refurbishment of the Crucible was also part funded by £4m ERDF. 6: Grey to Green Project (Phase 1)of meadows to combat flooding on West Bar. 7: Bus Rapid Transport North - high speed bus route and service between Sheffield and Rotherham including the new Tinsley Link Road has received £7.5m from ERDF. 8: Three pocket parks around the city centre were also part EU funded, including Nursery Street Park and Porter Brook Park.

9 The EU-funded SEEDS Project has also supported a variety of uses of buildings and spaces around the city centre.
