Designers whose products and ideas help to boost health and wellbeing are being doubly challenged to showcase their skills at a European conference in Sheffield.
The challenges are the brainchild of organisers of Design4Health, a three-day conference and exhibition that takes place at Sheffield Hallam University at the start of July.
The event brings together designers and creative practitioners with researchers, clinicians, policy-makers and users.
Designers have until February 22 to submit proposals to be included in the exhibition and organisers have also unveiled plans for a 24- hour design challenge.
The challenge will involve teams, including designers, people living with chronic conditions, carers and health professionals, working together to come up with ideas, based on a design brief unveiled on the first day of the conference.
