Rensburg Sheppards Investment Management in Sheffield is celebrating its investment staff achieving Chartered status for the Securities and Investment Institute (CISI).

CISI, formed from the old London Stock Exchange, introduced the new Chartered status after being granted its Royal Charter in 2009, as part of a drive to promote integrity and professionalism within the investment industry.

All 15 of the investment management staff at Rensburg Sheppards have achieved membership of CISI.

They were already members of the Securities and Investment Institute but were required to reapply to the newly formed chartered organisation.

Tom Street, director in charge of the Sheffield office of Rensburg Sheppards, said: “Rensburg Sheppards has always had a commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

“We are delighted to be one of the first firms in the region that has this accreditation and it is testament to the dedication of our investment managers who have worked to achieve this.

“In a rapidly changing world, clients need and require service of the highest possible standard, and this underlines our commitment to ensure that this is provided”.
