The company and its staff picked up a total of four awards, including the top award for Outstanding Business of the Year.
Production director Kevin Mannion was crowned Kennedy’s Business Person of the Year, while the Darnall-based company picked up the Wake Smith Excellence in Manufacturing and the Irwin Mitchell Excellence in Customer Service awards.
Sheffield International Venues also picked up a brace of accolades by winning the NHS Sheffield Healthy Business and the Sports and Leisure Business Forum Excellence in Sports Services Awards.
Tristan Cowell from IC Innovations was named Sheffield City Council Young Business Person of the Year.
Other winners included Bag it Don’t Bin It, Barlow Group, Hydra Mining, Office Friendly Dealer Association, Zoo Digital, The Girl with the Golden Cup, Thetford and Future Life Wealth Management.
Chamber president, Yuri Matischen, said: “The awards have again demonstrated that despite tough economic times there is still a huge amount of success being achieved by companies. It is also an indication of the rich variety of sectors we have in this area, from health to manufacturing, sport to digital industries.
“I would personally like to congratulate the winners on their greatly deserved success, while also praising the companies which were short-listed. We had record number of entries again this year, so to be among the finalists is a great achievement.”
Impressionist Jon Culshaw was compere for the evening’s entertainment.
The award ceremony took place at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield and was attended by more than 1,000 people.
