Sheffield Business Park’s newest arrival has set up shop – to supply its neighbours with food and drink.

Owners Louisa Herrera-Smith and husband Leigh Smith opened the Park Café after spotting the business potential during visits to Louisa’s brother Diego, who runs internet specialist Corporate Web Solutions in the park’s Sheffield Business Centre.

The couple already run a sandwich shop in Greasbrough and their business expansion realises a long-held ambition.

“We have always wanted to expand and open a café.

“I’ve been a regular visitor to the park since Diego moved in and I could see the potential – it’s a busy place. So when we discovered that premises may be available, we decided to go for it,” she says.

The Park Café is strategically based in premises on Europa View, at the heart of the business park.

Louisa said: “We have put a lot of new equipment in, including new coffee machines, and offer an extensive menu, including takeaway food. We offer everything from cream buns to tapas and panini.”

The emphasis is on a fast, friendly service. She adds: “People have short breaks these days, so we won’t keep our customers waiting.”

Louisa also plans to offer catering for private functions and to host networking events at the Park Café.

Sheffield Business Park manager Dawn Kennedy welcomed the café’s arrival. She said: “Louisa and the team are a great addition to our community – they’ve already made a great impression.”
