DAM House bar and restaurant, next to Crookes Valley Park, is being auctioned next week with no reserve – but on condition the new owner pays off £35,000 in ground rent owed to the council.
The premises, off Mushroom Lane, have had a series of owners in recent years and have been empty since earlier this year. Adrian Little, of Mark Jenkinson Auctioneers, said: “The building is in a fantastic location although it struggles with parking.”
The property is being sold by Leeds-based accountancy firm GVA, which is acting as the receiver for the previous owner. It is part of an auction at the Platinum Suite, Bramall Lane on Tuesday from 2pm.
