BENCHMARK Recruit is celebrating another year of growth with plans for further expansion.

The specialist recruitment and retention business based in Queen Street, Sheffield, saw a 68 per cent growth in turnover year on year for 2009/10.

And that was accompanied by a 50 per cent growth in staffing to meet the needs of an expanding client base.

Now director Amy Tingle says the time is right for further internal recruitment as Benchmark looks forward to further growth throughout the next 12 months.

“We are delighted with the way things have gone in the past 12 months - it’s a great sign for the local economy,” she said.

“We are now looking for two new people to join our team, to work in our Legal and Finance section and on Sales and Marketing appointments, both areas that are extremely important to our growth plans in the year ahead.

“Experience in those areas will be vital but, equally importantly, we are looking for people who want to give something back to the community and become involved in Benchmark’s charity work.

“We believe strongly in supporting the people around us, which is why we are so happy to work with organisations like Neurocare and Whirlow Hall Farm, city charities that depend upon the city’s support.”
