Sheffield United has been granted a renewal on planning permission to redevelop part of Bramall Lane stadium.
The club was granted outline permission more than five years ago for the scheme, which would involve removing the roof of the Kop and putting in additional seating at the top of the stand, increasing the ground’s capacity by 3,215. The seating would be on top of a new concourse area and new club offices.
Changes to the Evolution corner stand would include additional viewing boxes, toilets and concession facilities.
Work would also be done to improve the view for supporters sitting in the corner stand.
