SHEFFIELD-BASED outdoor equipment retailer GO Outdoors posted sales of £114.9 million for the 52 weeks ending January 30, making it the largest outdoor specialist in the UK.
The company enjoyed a rise in like-for-like sales across its entire portfolio of +10.6%.
Online sales saw growth of +45%.
Turnover which is up by 57% on last year’s figures of £75.4 million, was boosted by the opening of nine new superstores in 2010.
GO Outdoors, which has 27 stores across the UK, including Sheffield and Hathersage, is planning to open a further 10 this year with the aim of having 50 in the portfolio by 2012.
