Independent South Yorkshire breweries are seeing their beers increasingly being stocked in major supermarkets thanks to the work of a local distribution company.
Acore and Kelham Island ales are being sold in Asda and Tesco with help from The Locally Sourced Food Company.
It estimates 60,000 bottles of beer will be sold across the country in the run up to Christmas.
Sales and marketing director Amanda Peberdy said: “These are enormous volumes of beer and it just goes to show how popular beer from Yorkshire’s independent breweries has become.
“Yorkshire’s beer has always been some of the very best in the world and it’s great to see so many people enjoying it.”
