A LIFESTYLE brand known for its vintage-inspired prints is setting up shop in Sheffield.
Cath Kidston, famed for its floral patterns, has confirmed the store will open in Meadowhall shopping centre, creating a mixture of about 20 full and part-time jobs.
It will sell homewares, including bespoke fabrics and wallpapers, as well as fashion, accessories and childrenswear, alongside one-off vintage pieces.
Designers of the shop’s interior have sought inspiration from Sheffield’s industrial past - Sheffield steel will be incorporated into key fixtures, with an installation of vintage wooden bobbins hanging over the haberdashery unit.
Chris McKendrick, Cath Kidston commercial director, said: “We are delighted to expand in South Yorkshire and add Meadowhall to our growing portfolio of shops.”
The shop will be opened officially on Thursday, July 26.
