The Laser Cutting Co has spent almost £1m in a new machine to meet the demands of customers - who expect a response 24 hours-a-day.
The new system provides should also cut costs in the manufacture of complex tube components.
The firm, based on Catley Road, Attercliffe, is a sub-contractor cutting metal parts for customers across the UK>
Managing director, Jon Day, sees significant growth for the business.
He said: “We are convinced that there are major cost savings that customers can make by switching their production to make use of our BLM Tubelaser machines. Design changes have reduced secondary fabrication times.”
