ANNE Spencer, of Spencers Estate Agents Ltd, has retired after 20 years of selling and managing property in Sheffield.
She has worked alongside husband Jim Spencer throughout the existence of the company, managing the day-to-day running, administration, accounts and the HR side of the business.
While Jim has always been seen as the face of the estate agency, with 40 years’ industry experience, Anne has ensured its smooth running.
She said: “ I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Spencers and have loved the challenge that running a company and being involved in the property industry brings. Now is a great time, though, to hand the reins over to Nicola, my daughter, and her partner Lee Bullen, who will now run the company with Jim staying on as a consultant.”
Anne is going to focus more on being “a doting grandmother” to Chloe and she has recently taken up pilates.
