Family and friends are Magi HEAR SINGLE

Three brothers, a cousin and two friends are the new addition to the Sheffield and Rotherham live music scene.

The six boys of The Magi had their first gig at the Boardwalk in August last year. Since then they have played in the Frog and Parrot on several occations, at the Plug, West Street Live, Casbah, The Harley, and on the opening night of Carling Academy 2.

Brothers Des Jenkinson (drummer) and Bob Jenkinson (tunes, lead) who live with Edd Watson (bassist) and Mark Johnson (lyricist) on Ecclesall Road, and third brother Andy Jenkinson (Rhythm guitar) and cousin John Jenkinson (vocals)who live in Rotherham, have been in the 2 Flystudio twice and done two EPs.

"We have a great set of fans who come to every gig no matter where or what night. It's like a party at each gig, until you've seen us live you cant really get a feel for the things we are doing," said Edd.
