Fans flock to see champion Jessica in Sheffield

HUNDREDS of fans braved the cold to queue up and meet Sheffield golden girl Jessica Ennis at the launch of her new book.
The London 2012 Olympics heptathlon champion launched her autobiography with a book signing at WHSmith in Meadowhall shopping centre – and about 400 people turned up to have their copy signed.
Jessica, aged 26, from Millhouses, said: “I’ll definitely be getting all my family the book for Christmas!
“It’s been brilliant. It’s nice to go through all my memories over the past few years, my journey to the Olympics, put it all into words.
“It’s amazing to have a book and for it to be out now.”
