New academy for business leaders
SOUTH Yorkshire entrepreneur and award-winning businessman Kevin Kerley is launching a branch of the Academy for Chief Executives in the Sheffield City Region.
The academy is an international organisation that specialises in providing impartial advice and expert support to help business leaders and their companies to grow, using peer group learning, speakers and personal coaching from business leaders.
Kevin, managing director of Solutions 4 Cleaning, will chair the Sheffield City Region branch from its official launch on April 25 at the Chimney House in Sheffield.
“After four years as a member of the academy, it is a great honour to be asked to facilitate the new launch of a group in the Sheffield City Region,” he said.
“The Academy for Chief Executives provided me with a vehicle in which to constantly push the boundaries of my business, achieve exceptional growth and polish my existing skills while also learning new ones in an exceptional and unique way – and find the correct balance with family life.
“It’s tough at the top and running a business is a huge responsibility, as all our members know.
“That’s why they joined ACE because it’s particularly challenging in the current climate to be an MD or CEO.”
Before the official April launch there will be two taster sessions, the first being held at Doncaster Racecourse and Exhibition Centre on February 21, when the speaker will be motivational business growth expert Roger Harrop.
And on March 29 Phil Jesson, a best selling author and world expert of maximising revenues from key accounts and revenues, will be the guest at the Chimney House in Sheffield.
