Planning expert Richard's dual role

THE Sheffield office of leading national commercial property consultancy, Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has announced that Richard Moffat will assume a dual role as planning consultant across the firm's Sheffield and Manchester offices.

Richard has worked as a director in the planning, development & regeneration department in LSH’s Manchester office since January 2008 and has been involved in town and country planning matters for over 21 years.

He has a wealth of experience in providing planning advice across the full spectrum of property types and uses, including advising on the prospects of securing planning consent, pre-application negotiations and planning applications. He has also given evidence at numerous public inquiries.

Richard often instructs and works with large multi-disciplined teams of consultants and for individual clients including Peel Holdings, First Investments, Patrick Properties and Dencourt Developments.

Richard said: “This is a great opportunity for me to contribute towards the expansion of LSH’s proven business model and track record in the planning sector.

“Building on the strong foundations already in place in the Sheffield office, this role will enable me to identify opportunities where the concept of planning can enhance the assets of our clients across South Yorkshire.”
