Redneck aims for the States HEAR SINGLE
An unsigned Sheffield band has just recorded their '80proof.' demo, now they are hoping to challenge Americas Southern-metal giants Black Label Society and Down.
Redneck started in May 2007 born from a good amount of drunk pub talk from Rich Hobson, who has vocals and lyrics in the band, and his metronomic best mate Kyle Vine on drums. The two overheard Tom Rudkin in a Sound Control store and soon recruited him for lead guitar. Kon Hall joined the band on rhythm guitar and studio bass.
The 4-piece Southern-metal band just recorded their demo '80proof.'

"Our aim is to make it to the States to challenge Americas Southern-metal giants Black Label Society and Down, as well as anyone else we get on stage with," said Rich.
Redneck is going to be the only unsigned band to be played through Corporations award winning rig on Fridays 'Drop' night.
