REVIEW: Uncorked, Al Stewart Live With Dave Nachmanoff (Freeworld)
It's 43 years since the most lyrical of singer songwriters released his debut album, Bedsitter Images, and here's a live version of the title track on his 26th album.
Pretty good it sounds, too, as do the rest of the batch on which he is accompanied by Dave Nachmanoff, a dazzling acoustic guitarist, on recordings from three nights in America.
Uncorked is no doubt a reference to Stewart's enthusiasm for fine wine, and this latest collection indicates hi songs have aged extremely well.
And there is no sign of the Cat.
