Road repair scheme set to roll into more parts of Sheffield

WORK on repairing roads, footpaths and street lights around Broomhill, Crookes and Crosspool is due to start in April and last for around five months.
Part of the city wide programme being carried out by council contractor Amey, details for the Tapton Hill zone will be given at a roadshow at Wesley Hall, Crookes, next Wednesday from 1pm to 5.45pm
A Grimesthorpe zone, including work on some of the busiest roads in Grimesthorpe, Burngreave, Page Hall and Wincobank, including Spital Hill, Ecclesfield Road and Page Hall Road, is also due to be tackled in the spring. Roadshows are being held next Thursday at the Pakistan Community Advice Centre in Page Hall Road (noon to 2.30pm) and St Thomas Church Hall, Newman Road, Wincobank (3.30pm to 6pm).
