Students will get more than they bargained for at tonight’s Meadowhall Student Lock-In - Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing is going to be there.
The cheeky chappie from the hit Channel 4 show will bring his pop up boutique, Candy Kittens, to Lower Park Lane near Miss Selfridge.
Shoppers will be able to meet and greet the star and pick up some of his trade mark merchandise all evening, from 6.30pm to 10pm.
More than 20,000 students are expected as the shopping centre hosts its third annual Lock-In event, giving discounts, special deals and entertainment to everyone with a student ID.
Held in conjunction with Total Students, the event, taking place in celebration of the start of the academic year, invites ystudents from across the region.
More than 120 Meadowhall retailers are offering exclusive discounts and in store activities. There will also be a party atmosphere with live music, buskers, gaming, fashion workshops and makeovers.
Attractions also includee a FM Models scout station, VW Van ‘selfie’ photo booth, cocktail master classes, Nandos wheel of fortune and mascot, Rodeo bull and DJ, and performances from Burrito Banditoes.
Stores such as Levis, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Superdry and Ted Baker along with many more will be offering up to 30per cent off big brands and fashion favourites*- plus giveaways, competitions and promotions.
The Student Lock-In, which saw over 18,000 attendees in September last year, will take place between 6.30pm to 10pm tonight, Thursday, September 26, 2013.
Students wanting to guarantee a place are also invited to pre-register at www.studentlockin.com/sheffield and must bring a form of student ID on the night to collect their wristband.
