PARADISE Chambers are to be based in a Grade II listed former bank building in Leopold Street.

Acting on behalf of a private client, the Agency team at CBRE in Sheffield completed the sale of 5,687 sq ft building for £500,000.

Paradise Chambers will move from Paradise Square, following a merger with Manchester-based chambers St Johns Buildings.

Roger Haworth, Senior Director at CBRE Sheffield, said; “This was a rare opportunity to purchase a character building in the heart of Sheffield’s thriving new business quarter on Leopold Square. Although competition for the unit was strong when the property came to the market, after their recent merger and expansion Paradise Chambers saw the unique potential that the Leopold Street space could offer them, and the deal represents an excellent result for both parties.”

Paradise Chambers will undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of the internal space to accommodate offices and meeting rooms.

Nigel Hunter, Partner of Edwards & Co Manchester, acted for Paradise Chambers/St Johns Buildings.
