“No sooner do we take a property on,” says Company Director Matthew Staves, “than we have floods of interest from prospective tenants wanting to view. Frequently this can result in multiple applications being placed on one property.
“Generally speaking, the prospective tenants that are out there are of excellent quality, and in a better housing market would have been first-time buyers, but obviously with the mortgage situation being what it is they cannot afford to raise the deposits that are required to purchase a property, so are therefore going down the rental route.”
