Rush to beat the flu bug

A dramatic increase in cases of the H1N1 virus during the Christmas break has prompted businesses from across the UK to telephone Gems seeking effective antibacterial products.

Gems is advising organisations to invest in two products to help combat the spread of germs.

Bactericidal cleaner, Sprint, has passed independent laboratory tests to confirm it is effective against the H1N1 influenza strain.

It is also proven to kill HIV, Hepatitis C, Clostridium Difficile, MRSA and common food poisoning bacteria, including Salmonella Typhimurium, Listeria Monocytogenes and Escherichia Coli.

Alcohol hand gel, Sani Hands, is also effective against the avian and swine flu viruses and kills 99.999% of E-Coli and MRSA.
