A Sheffield care home is to build an accommodation block for people with mental health problems after getting a loan from Barclays.
Abbeyfield Grange, on Burngreave Road, is launching a scheme backed by Sheffield Council.
Manager Rachel Coates said it would encourage independent living and offer residents the chance to take part in community activities and adult education.
Abbeyfield Grange employs 23 staff locally and is able to accommodate more than 38 people. ASC Finance for Business also advised on the deal.
