Plans for a new 24-hour off licence on Sheffield’s West Street have been objected to over fears it will increase street drinking problems.

The proposals for sandwich shop Food To Go will go before a council licensing committee next week.

Eight objections have been made to the application from residents and business owners who say another off licence would worsen existing problems.
